Metro Detroit Cremation offers peace of mind cremation at one low cost. Arrangements are completed online and from the comfort of your own home. Serving all Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb County communities, our partnership with A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Directors allows us to offer the finest level of care with a basic price to provide unbeatable value.

Our online cremation program is for those wanting very minimal services. You can complete the online arrangement program in the comfort of your own home. That said, know that our staff remains fully engaged in, and concerned for, the care of the deceased.

The goods and services shown below are those that we can provide to our customers through this online service, and you may choose only these items. These direct disposition services include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain those reasons in writing.

Online Direct Cremation - $1,550.00

Includes:

  • Basic services of Funeral Director and Staff - These include online arrangement process; coordination with crematory; general assistance as necessary. Completion and filing of death certificate and obtaining necessary certified copies at time of filing
  • Medical Examiner permit authorizing cremation
  • Registration of death with Social Security
  • Local transfer of deceased from place of death to funeral home
  • Shelter of deceased prior to cremation
  • Transfer of deceased to crematory
  • Crematory fee
  • Basic cremation container required by crematory
  • Temporary plastic urn


Additional Offerings

    • Shipping of cremated remains (U.S or Canada)
      $95 (will be charged if cremated remains not picked up within 30 days.)
